The Murder of Shelley Morgan
Shelley Morgan, a mother of two murdered while taking pictures. Decades later, police ask the public to identify her camera and two related postcards.
Shelley Brian hailed from the United States, but relocated to the UK after grabbing an opportunity to turn her love for fashion and design into a career. In 1972, she immigrated to Liverpool, England after accepting a job as the wardrobe manager for Liverpool’s Playhouse.
There she fell in love with and married Nigel Morgan; together they would have two children — Liam and Charlotte. They relocated from South Wales to a new home in Bristol, hoping to find better educational opportunities for Liam, who was autistic. As the children grew older and began attending school during the day, Shelley turned her eye towards restarting her career and began looking at going back to school to complete her Fine Arts program.
At the time of her disappearance, she had only recently begun participating in art classes at Bristol’s Polytechnic Art College.
