Introducing a new Utah-oriented true crime podcast

Hello Darlin’s!

Today we get to introduce you all to a pretty new true crime podcast, “Killer Conspiracies with Koby and Bryan.”

Key Terms: True Crime, Conspiracy, Comedy.

Killer Conspiracies with Koby and Bryan” is a relatively new true crime podcast hosted by Koby Crook and Bryan Garcia. Since its launch on September 17, 2023, this podcast has been captivating listeners with its in-depth exploration of various homicide cases.

Your hosts, Koby Crook and Bryan Gargia launched the first episode of their dive into the world of true crime on September 17, 2023 with an episode covering two separate killers — The Cul-De-Sac Killer and the Eyeball Killer.

Although they initially started by covering a broader geographic range, the hosts soon announced their intention to primarily feature cases from the southwestern state of Utah. The region is often overlooked in the true crime arena so this new podcast fits quite neatly within its niche.

Show Details

Koby and Bryan tell their stories with well-research facts and respect for the victims, but they seek to keep things a little more lighthearted. They share the stories back and forth and enjoy what they do, adding a bit of comedy though only at the killer’s expense. They avoid getting political and prefer to be seen as a show where the details are shared between friends; it is meant to be interesting and they don’t take themselves too seriously.

The show is episodic with a unique story covered in every episode and each of their primary shows lasts between thirty minutes to more than an hour. They also publish mini-episodes on various days throughout the week, typically shorter stories covered in under a 30 minutes.

They handle both open and solved cases while covering missing persons, homicides, or infamous conspiracies. Generally, the podcast is focusing on cases based in Utah; however, they do occasionally cover stories from other areas. They tend to focus on the periods between then 1900s and today, covering a varied combination of modern and historical cases.

Schedule

They publish new cases every Monday, with their most recent case airing just yesterday (December 19)! Don’t forget to watch for those mini-episodes published during the week as well!
